Renewable energy generation

• Raised funds and constructed one of the first solar PV plants in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

• Developed a solar distributed energy project by securing land and obtaining electric grid access permits from the largest vertically integrated utility in Brazil, for medium-size solar PV plants.

• Created a business plan, analised economic viability, legislation, potential customer groups to create value proposition, customer acquisition plan and select geographical locations for the projects.

• Analysed the Brazilian market for educational services, identified the gaps, created content for online classes and conducted online lessons for 9-12 yo kids.

About Helenium

Helenium was founded by Dr. Elena Yakovenko in 2010.

She studied Physics and defended her PhD thesis, receiving in parallel MSc degree in Economics, which was later completed with Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School.

Her commercial experience spreads from marketing within Procter & Gamble, private banking within Barclays Bank to business and project developement in renewable energy space within her own company.

Through her career she planned and led business initiatives in Western and Eastern Europe and Brazil, managing multi-cultural multi-functional teams.

She has theoretical knowledge and practical experience to help you evaluate and bring to life your business ideas. She is ready to face challenges in various areas.
